LANGUAGE: Languages used for the training: English, but many languages for 6+ groups. The language of the course can be arranged according to the characteristics of the groups in English, German, Italian, Spanish and Turkish.

COURSE BACKGROUND AND COURSE OVERVIEW:

Original benchmarking courses in schools of top performers of European school education, are Erasmus+ KA1 courses with top content, organized. Observed lessons, interact with colleagues of your own school level, and contribute to the discussion with a ‘success story’ of your own school. Courses include expert presentations and workshops on how to promote European development.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

-To reach the European qualities and standards in education

-School’s reaching success with its best ways

Innovation. School development plans, curriculum reform, 21st-century skills.

Transition from non-digital to digital. Digital tests of European matriculation exam (upper secondary).

The student in the center. The 3-level support system, special needs, home, and school.

Teacher in focus. Digital apprenticeship, coaching, teacher/student agents.

Management. Local examples.

European development in schools, the most digitalized country, PISA, and other international research 

CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY:

  • A general introduction on each of the topics.
  • Participants observe teaching, studying and learning processes in classrooms in small groups or individually.
  • Participants share experiences and expertise on the topic in the group and plenary sessions.
  • Creating output. Working individually or in groups on recommendations for one’s own school. Learning diary, social media updates, blogs.

PREPARATION:

After confirming registration, participants will be informed about the details of the course (arrival, daily program). Participants will be able to introduce themselves and bring a few examples of routines and practices that they apply to their teaching.
