COURSE BACKGROUND AND COURSE OVERVIEW:
Some new curriculums are added into the European Countries’ school educations. One of them is “values movement”. This education module is about the general values of a society, and its inclusion according to the ages of the children in schools. As it seems, the exam systems, academic general education systems of the schools block the children’s value gaining. So, schools do not only stand for the academic process. They should be seen as the children’s family, also.
The general course view will be about the growing up good persons, ethical values, individual responsibilities and being the right person. So, this course is not related to the material and academic education, it is related to the ethic and abstraction lives of the persons live in societies.

-Disseminate the importance of valuable and ethical behaviors in order to be the right person.
-To give them the conscious of being an ethically good person.
CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY:
The course content will be about the ethical and moral perspectives and values in the society, their roles in the individual improvement of the children in schools. In the later years, these values are started to being added to the school curriculums as topics in the lessons and it is thought that this will be useful in the individual improvement of the students.
So, the methodology for this course will be firstly the introduction of these values and added values to the participants, and we will talk about how can we integrate these issues to the school curriculums. Then, we will introduce the values and the character education to the participants, then the discussion of the topic will go on. We will firstly introduce the topics and the main issue, then we will discuss through the theoretical sessions. Then, sightseeing and school visits will be done, and goodbye.

After confirming registration, participants will be informed about the details of the course (arrival, daily program). Participants will be able to introduce themselves and bring a few examples of routines and practices that they apply to their teaching.
