COURSE BACKGROUND AND COURSE OVERVIEW:

Autism has an important place in the world that we live in. This disorder can be seen as a problem in the society, and parents of the children that they have the autistic disorder may have seen and accepted differentiated from the society that they live. Actually, with some methods and techniques, out of their treatment process, they can be included in the education process in schools; because individuals with autism syndrome are not different from us. They have some symptoms that show they have an autistic disorder; they also have different features and characteristics from normal people. So, with the treatment of their disorder, with some methods and techniques, and some adaptation rules, they can be included in society. 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

-To find the symptoms of the autistic children

-Realize their differences

-To adapt them to the school education and society

-To use the techniques and methodologies for their feelings of belonging to the society

-To help their treatment

-To teach more about the Autistic Spectrum Disorder

CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY:

The content of the course children with ASD and their school education. We will talk about how can we help more than. So, we need to find the methods and techniques for including these children the school environment and society.

The methodology of the course first will be on talking about the symptoms of autism and identifying the special ones. Then, we will talk about with the teacher about the adaptation and the accepted processes of these children to society and publicity. Then, we will talk about the treatments and methods for these ASD children. Then, the harms impair and effects of this disorder to children’s social lives.

Then, we will talk about the neurodevelopmental conditions of their brains in their growing up processes and we will read the academical essays together in order to solve these problems in schools. Then, the ASD syndrome will be discussed with all of its aspects and roles in society.
