STRATEGIES OF SPECIAL WORK AND COMMUNICATION WITH DISABLED PEOPLE
LANGUAGE: Languages used for the training: English, but many languages for 6+ groups. The language of the course can be arranged according to the characteristics of the groups in English, German, Italian, Spanish and Turkish.

COURSE BACKGROUND AND COURSE OVERVIEW:
There are different kinds and types of students in schools; such as disabled ones, poor, etc. These disabled ones are qualified as disadvantaged in societies. So, teachers should find some ways to include these disadvantaged students to the general education process. In this course, there are methods, techniques and methodologies are included for specially disabled students’ inclusion to the education and society. Then, teachers should work and study on excluding the differences between students. So, they should take educations and they should gain experience with the disabled students.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
-Helping teachers who work with disabled students.
-Helping acknowledge disability with all forms of itself.
-Discovering how it is dealing with in primary school children and how people are dealing with it.
-Preferring best practices with local tutors.
-Thinking about the education system and making appointments about this to make it inclusive.
-Disabled children could also learn education tools.
CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY:
The course is designed as an interactive process with an emphasis on establishing a mentor relationship between participants and trainer. The format of the course is didactic, experiential, and interactive along with with discussions, individual and team exercises. So, participants will gain too much experience. The focus is on experiential learning and workshop approach. The participants will also see examples of inclusive education for special needs students in the Turkish education system.

PREPARATION:
After confirming registration, participants will be informed about the details of the course (arrival, daily program). Participants will be able to introduce themselves and bring a few examples of routines and practices that they apply to their teaching.
